Kimbell Art Museum. The Torment of Saint Anthony.

We visited the Kimbell tonight for a member's open house -- as guests, I should say. It was a very enjoyable evening and I got to spend a few minutes enjoying this Michelangelo, acquired by the Kimbell just last year. I am always a little shocked that I can be so close to one of these, and appreciative of life in Fort Worth even more.

Agree! I haven't seen the painting yet, but driving around town yesterday thinking about all the possible ways to spend the weekend - Main Street, the plant sale at the BG, Sleeping Beauty at Bass - it's a great city.

Jennifer --

We were wondering why a large group of girls were going into Bass Hall yesterday. I didn't know about Sleeping Beauty. Marian and I spent all day with Main Street, Letter Scavenger Hunt, and Kimbell. Beautiful day for it. And I forgot about the plant sale. Thanks.
