The following is 6 of the top ten regional fast food restaurants with the highest rankings in customer satisfaction. (The other four of the ten are not commonly known franchises.)
I have placed the names in alphabetical order. Can you number them 1 - 6 according to the customer satisfaction ranking?
Chick-fil-A, Atlanta
Chipotle, Denver
In-N-Out Burger, Irvine, Calif.
Panera Bread, St. LouisPei Wei, Scottsdale, Ariz.

I'll send the winner a $10 gift certificate to Starbucks if said winner promises not to cheat by doing a web search .

All the others are irrelevant.
Mr Scagel -- in the spirit of fairness I cannot award you the $10 gift certificate -- but if we are ever on the left coast together I will buy you an in-n-out hamburger. I have never had one, but they are numero uno.
I'll take a shot. 1-Chick-fil-a, 2-Panera Bread, 3-In-N-out, 4-Chipotle, 5-Pei Wei, 6-Qdoba.
I think 5 guys is better than In-N-out but my wife doesn't think so.
1. In n out burger
2. Chick Fil A
3. Chipotle
4. Pei Wei
5. Panera Bread
6 Qdoba
1. In-n-Out Burger
2. Chipotle
3. Chick-fil-a
4. Pei Wei
5. Panera Bread
6. Qdoba
I'll announce a winner on Friday.
Maybe Jake could devise a formula to determine points for each name placed. In other words, if Qdoba was 3 and you placed it at 4 you should get more points than the person who placed it at 5. (No, I'm not being serious)
But --- Mr. Scagel has one selection that is right. ;}
1. In-n-Out
2. Chik-fil-A
3. Panera
4. Chipotle
5. Pei Wei
6. Qdoba
100,392,421. Arbys (all)
1. In-n-out
2. chik-fil-a
3. Pei Wei
4. Qdoba
5. Chipotle
6. Panera
One way would be to have 3 points for a correct answer and then subtract the distance between what you put down and where it should be.
It has to be low, because if you put Chipotle at 6 and it was really supposed to be a 3, you got it completely wrong but the distance is only 3 places, thus it has to be low.
Just a thought. You can't go below 0, but it rewards people for having more near where they are supposed to be.
So it is written, so it shall be done . . .
(thanks Jake)
Francis Shivone, you are a cruel man! Apparently, there are no "In-n-Out Burger" outlets anywhere near Fort Worth.
Moving along, though, I had some decent custard at a place in Mansfield called "Kustard Kraz". While I hate subbing "K" for "C" in principle, they had a very decent looking, though pricey burger. Perhaps one of your experienced burger experts can tell me whether it's worth the money.
Rambler -- Don't shoot the messenger. :)
I can't say I have ever been to an In/Out burger but i hear they are good.
Next time I am in Mansfield I'll try the Kustard. Thanks.
