Mike Huckabee has come from the back of the pack to be a front runner in Iowa. Polls did predict him doing well in the Iowa caucus many weeks ago but the media has just caught on. Because of his ascendance and the descendance of others I have issued a new poll. See poll to the right.

My "suggested candidate" after taking the quiz was R. Guiliani (for whom I will not vote), then Mike Huckabee, followed by Mitt Romney.

My blog dabbles in politics and food as well. You can visit it here.
While I'm not completely synchronized with your politics, I'm facinated by the emerging schism in the Republican party between Social and Fiscal conservatives.
One of the things I find most facinating is the role that religion plays in modern GOP politics. I read an article the other day about how Reagan would not stand a chance in today's GOP because of religion. Then today, I read this massive article in the strong GOP mag the Weekly Standard that took a few hours to digest. The big question the article tries to answer is what religious questions to a candidate are legitimate and what are not. Fascinating.
I visited Steve's blog and commented there. F&FW.
