Merry Christmas One and All

LO, HOW A ROSE ERE BLOOMING

Recording has some static but it was still my favorite.
From wikipedia: Es ist ein Ros entsprungen, most commonly translated to English as Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming or A Spotless Rose, is a Christmas carol and Marian Hymn of German origin. The text is thought to be penned by an anonymous author, and the piece first appeared in print in the late-16th century. The hymn has been used by both Catholics and Protestants, with the focus of the song being Mary or Jesus, respectively. In addition, there have been numerous versions of the hymn, with varying texts and lengths.

Texas expected to win more congressional seats with Census

Fort Worth Star Telegram, Anna M. Tinsley, December 19, 2010

"By 2013, Texans likely will have three or four more congressional members than it has today."

"Any discussion where new districts would go and who would benefit is purely speculative right now," said Matt Leffingwell, a spokesman for U.S. Rep. Kay Granger, R-Fort Worth. "All we know right now is that much of the population growth in Texas has been in the Metroplex."  (Bold and italics from this blog)
