In-N-Out Burger Report. May 15, 2011

FRISCO, TX.

This report just in from a friend of mine (a Californian, of course) who drove to the newly opened In-N-Out Burger in Frisco.
We drove to In-N-Out today but didn't eat there: the lines were STILL insanely long -- the guy at the drive-thru told me it was a 3 hour wait, and there were a good 75 people out the door in line to walk in. This was the case at BOTH locations. Insane.
That's it folks. I guess you could say it's a Can't-Get-In-N-Out Burger right now. (Sorry couldn't help myself.)

Stay tuned!

(Thanks, Travis)

This is why I go to Chop House Burgers in Arlington. Open six months, and Kenny's crazy-busy but nothing like a three hour wait. The Place was packed on Friday night. Brother Sushi and I sat outside, and it was a glorious evening, so we didn't mind the (maybe half hour? usually considerably less) wait.

Lynn -- I agree. Chop House is the best.

No burger is worth a 3 hour wait. The people in line are insane.

But if there IS a burger that is worth a wait of more than 20 minutes, it's an In-N-Out burger. I hope these madhouse lines dwindle soon; I mean, come on, it's been 4 days already, people.

Stephanie -- I would go just to see what all the fuss is about and I think others do the same. I have never had an IN N Out burger, myself. When Krispy Kreme came to Arlington my wife and I drove out on opening day and they had a similar crowd with an hours long line. And there I was right in the middle of it -- just another lemming getting ready to jump.
