Andre Watts at Bass Hall / Jazz at Boulevard


This weekend, the Fort Worth Symphony is sponsoring the Andre Watts piano concert at Bass Hall. Andre Watts is considered one of the world's greatest pianists.

(By the way, both Andre Watts and Miguel Harth-Bedoya have Philadelphia roots. Watts received training at the Philadelphia Music Academy and Harth-Bedoya received his bachelor's degree in conducting from the Curtis Institute of Music.)

Also, this weekend, an event that expects to draw around 50,000: jazz by some of the best including Buddy Guy, near the Will Rogers Memorial Complex, on the lawn, off Camp Bowie. No admission, by the way.
